Chip Off The Old Block
When Justin was born everybody would say how he was the spitting image of me. After Dylan was born people would say that he was the spitting image of Justin. Nancy always get bummed by those kind of comments because after all she was the one carrying them for 9 month each. She figures she deserves to have at least one of them look like her. The good thing is after Dylan was born more and more people now say Justin looks like her. Children's faces change over the course of time. One day they are cute...later on they grow up to be ugly. Likewise, one day they look like an alien...later on they look like a cute alien...hahaha. Here is a picture of me when I was Dylan's age. As you can tell...there are similarities. Here's one more pic...I guess my genetics are pretty dominant in our children. But then again...who knows...maybe when my kids grow older they will all look like Nancy...she would love that. Here are the remaining pics of Dylan for your viewing enjoyment.

Hi Nancy and John,
I get the same comments too. People say William and Nathaniel look just like their Dad and not like me. My unproven, unscientific theory is that most babies look like their dads because of evolution. After all, a mother will love and care for her child whom she carried for 9 months, no matter what he looked like. But a father may only be interested in caring for a child if he knew for sure it is his. So those babies who looked like their fathers instead of their mothers increased their chances of survival because they had two caregivers instead of one.
Sounds plausible, doesn't it?
hey john and nancy!
it's funny, but i see justin looking like both of you. when he was an infant and when i first met him in the hospital, he was john's clone...but as he got older i think he's also starting to look more like nancy...hence, the handsome part...hehehe :) i think dylan looks more like nancy now...but then i can also tell that he looks like john...it's a little freaky to know that you guys created these walking, talking, breathing beings who look like you both don't you think? :) anyway, if justin or dylan are ever lost in a crowd, there's no question who their parents are...that's certainly neat or scary depending on how you look at it... :)
see all four of you soon!
