8/13/07-Nancy's Birthday

Today Nancy celebrated her birthday. I'm not going to tell you how old she is because one thing I have learned over the years is that a woman does not like to talk about her age after a certain age. Nancy wanted to keep things low key. She actually had not planned on having friends over, but at the last minute she had some of her close co-workers come by to see Dylan and spend her birthday with her. Her former co-worker Cecilia is going off to law school and had wanted to see Dylan before she left. We originally were planning to go out to dinner with her, but Nancy's sister Annabelle called and offered to bring by a cake and dinner so we changed it to a home gathering.From left to right is Liz, Cecilia, Nancy, Sarah, and her sister Annabelle. Annabelle had just finished swimming...hence her wearing a bathrobe. Here is a clip of Justin singing Happy Birthday to Nancy and helping her blow out the candles.

And here is Justin ready to attack the cake. And Justin enjoying his spoils of conquest. I think Justin thinks everybody's birthday is somehow related to his. He definitely enjoys the fact that he gets to eat cake. He says, that is the best part of birthdays...it's his favorite.
