18 Month Check-Up
This past Thursday on 2/28/08 I took Dylan for his 18 month check-up. It was such a nice day we walked over to Japan Town where his doctor is instead of driving over. I felt bad for Dylan because he had no idea that he was going to the doctors to get his check-up...which meant he had to take his immunization shots. Here is Dylan smiling and ready to go. Poor guy has no idea that he is going to get stuck with needles. Here is Dylan posing in front of the Disney Music Center...just one of the many landmarks on the way to the doctors. Another picture of Dylan in front of City Hall. Here is Dylan in front of the doctor's office. Here he is waiting in the waiting room. Here is Dylan saying hi to one of the nurses. Here is Dylan walking in to his room. The ironic thing is that the room number is number 3 which is the amount of shots he had to have that day. Here is Dylan and Justin's doctor...Dr. Nakashima. He reminds me of Michael J. Fox's father in "Back To The Future". He is a great doctor. Here is Dr. Nakashima checking out Dylan. Here is Dylan waiting to get his shots. Again...poor guy has no idea what is about to happen to him. Here is the nurse about to administer Dylan his shots and a close-up of the 3 shots he is about to take. This is a blurry picture of the nurse sticking the first needle in Dylan. It's blurry because everybody is moving. Here is the after math after taking 3 shots. The good thing about Dylan is that he will rebound quickly and be in good spirits. Here he is laughing and being playful outside the doctor's building. On the way home we stopped by the Farmer's Market and I bought Dylan a mango/pineapple lemonade. Here he is enjoying the refreshing drink on a relatively warm LA winter. By the time we got home Dylan was thoroughly pooped out and passed out in his stroller. What a day for Dylan.

I know it's kind of weird that I am leaving comment in our own blog. But I just can't stop thinking how cute Dylan is. I know I am going to miss baby/toddler Dylan very much as he grows into a little boy, big boy and adult.
I love all the blogs and pics. I find it particularly precious that the boys are finding their identity and reaching milestones (i.e. first words and daycare). Most importantly, the boys relationship with each other is beautiful to witness.
